Description

The RAGGC website was rebuilt to address significant challenges in style, performance, and functionality. The original site was outdated, lacking modern design principles and optimization for today's web standards. In response, I executed a comprehensive redesign and development process to modernize the platform and ensure a better user experience.

Details

Technology Stack The new public-facing site is built using WordPress as the CMS, chosen for its flexibility, scalability, and ease of content management for non-technical users. Leveraging WordPress also facilitated seamless integration with the existing content structure, allowing for a smooth migration of assets from the legacy site. I enhanced the frontend with modern design principles, ensuring responsiveness across devices, optimized performance, and improved SEO practices.

In addition to the public site, I developed a Vue.js and Redux-powered member management system. This system allows members to log in and manage their accounts securely. Vue.js was selected for its reactive and modular nature, which enabled the creation of a dynamic, fast, and efficient user interface. Redux was implemented to handle complex state management across the application, ensuring data consistency and improving the overall user experience in the member portal.

Improvements and Performance The new website significantly improves page load times and responsiveness, which has positively impacted both SEO ranking and user retention. By implementing efficient caching strategies and code optimization techniques, we reduced server load and enhanced the site's scalability. The member portal provides a more streamlined and intuitive experience, thanks to its decoupled front-end architecture and state management powered by Vue.js and Redux.
